In the Community
Giving back to our community has always been extremely important to us, and we’re constantly looking for new ways to support the organizations that our team is most passionate about. Check out what we’ve been up to throughout the community.
Feeding our Community
Our team has had the privilege of not only providing monetary support to Community Servings but has also been actively engaged on the ground at their Jamaica Plain campus, cooking and preparing meals. Each week, Community Servings prepares close to 20,000+ medically tailored meals for people across Massachusetts impacted by HIV/AIDS, cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and more. A huge thank you to this incredible organization for continuously opening up their doors to our team, we can’t wait to come back again! Learn more about volunteering in your neighborhood here.

Riding for Cancer
The Pan-Mass Challenge is an annual bike-a-thon that surpasses all others in charitable fundraising, with every rider-raised dollar directly benefiting the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for cancer research and treatment. SFP Wealth is proud to be a corporate sponsor for Team 3G, led by their fearless leader and one of our very own, Amy Fradkin. Cancer is unfortunately a disease that has affected far too many of us and why the Pan-Mass Challenge is an extremely cherished organization by so many members of the SFP Wealth team. From training throughout the year to volunteering along the course, we look forward to participating in the Pan-Mass Challenge year after year. Learn more about how you can get involved today.

Providing Hospitals with PPE
When PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) was nearly impossible to obtain in early April of 2020, we, along with so many others, felt helpless. While there were so many unknowns, so many people and businesses stepped up to the plate, got creative, and took action. We had the opportunity to partner with one of those incredible companies, Ardent Displays, who flipped their packaging facility into an in- house, face shield plant that provided Connecticut hospitals, first responding agencies, and front-line organizations with protective shields. Through this partnership, we were able to distribute thousands of face shields to 13 Community Health Centers throughout New England!

Reading with Children
The simple act of reading aloud to a child is often something that we take for granted. When we learned about Read to a Child, where adults are paired with elementary students at under-resourced schools to read one-on-one with students on a weekly basis, we knew this was immediately an organization we wanted to be part of! Students with mentors are 55% more likely to enroll in college and 78% more likely to volunteer regularly than their un-mentored peers. The William F. Stanley Elementary School in Waltham, MA holds a special place in our hearts, and we can't say enough great things about the Read to a Child program.
Walking to Defeat ALS
Every 9-minutes a person in the United States is diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a neurodegenerative disease in which a person’s brain loses connection with their muscles. On a blustery and beautiful day in Boston, members of our team walked in memory of our dear friend Greg G. The Walk to Defeat ALS is the #1 way to unite and fundraise for those living with ALS. While there is no cure (yet) for this always fatal disease, scientists are making huge progress in understanding what causes ALS. To join the movement and find a walk near you, click here.
